Having problems making your mortgage payments? Have you received a letter from your lender about your late payments? Call your lender immediately and see if you can work something out. Hiding and not responding just makes matters worse.
The more you get behind the harder it will be to dig out. Your lender can be your best friend in this process. The last thing they want is for your home to go into foreclosure. It is in their best interest and yours to plan a way out of the situation you are in.
So if you think you are headed for trouble pick up the phone right way and call your lender. They have ways to help you but first they need to know you need it.
