First I tell my clients a few things that may help you. Don’t start credit repair if you know there is a lot more bad stuff still coming. Wait until the bleeding is over then begin. While in credit repair don’t fall further behind.
Make the important payments you owe and do it on time. Check with me before you pay off an old debt. It may not be necessary. Make sure your credit repair company monitors your credit reports in case something is taken off and then reappears.
Don’t go out and buy expensive new toys on credit or open new credit card accounts while you are in credit repair. Lastly, be patient. It takes 3-6 months to get your reports cleaned up. In the end it is worth the wait.
